This research explores issues around customer perceptions of the way that water companies respond to and manage drought. This includes the use of hosepipe bans and other measures aimed to manage and reduce water use at times of drought, planning for when drought happens, customer understanding the consequences and impact of water use restrictions on everyday life and businesses, and the language used to describe drought.
