Who can get help?

Customers in receipt of Pension Credit.

What help is provided?

Water and Sewerage bills are capped at £255 or £360 where two people in the household receive pension credit.

Customers who are in arrears and receiving certain benefits can apply to have bills limited.

Who can get help?

Customers who are receiving income related benefits and are either:

  • In arrears with previous years’ water charges

or

  • able to demonstrate a change in circumstances due to COVID-19 has resulted in a reduction in income and ability to pay water bill.

What help is provided?

Eligible customers will have bill capped at level determined by circumstances (as low as £120 in some cases)
