The Consumer Council for Water is supporting the 4th annual Wales Water Conference, which is being staged in Cardiff on May 17.
The consumer watchdog’s Chief Executive Tony Smith will be among the guest speakers at the flagship event, which brings together more than 150 key stakeholders to examine some of the biggest issues facing the Welsh water sector.
Resilience and resource management, water quality, technology innovation and flood protection are just some of the policy areas that will come under the spotlight.
Keynote speaker Lesley Griffiths AM, Cabinet Secretary for Environment and Rural Affairs, Welsh Government will open the 2017 event which features over 20 expert speakers from other bodies including Natural Resources Wales, Welsh Water, The Rivers Trust of Wales, NFU Cymru, The Woodland Trust, Drinking Water Inspectorate and Cardiff University.
