The Consumer Council for Water will brief business leaders and key policy makers on the opening of the new retail water market at the British Chambers of Commerce Annual Conference on Tuesday (February 28).
The consumer watchdog and Open Water programme will host a lunchtime briefing about the changes, which will give around 1.2 million businesses, charities and public sector organisations the freedom to switch retail water provider from April 1.
Around 40 delegates will hear about the potential benefits for businesses, including tailored services, consolidated bills and lower charges.
Our Chief Executive Tony Smith will also explain how CCWater will be working to support businesses in the new marketplace, including resolving their complaints when they are let down by a retailer.
