Have water companies in the Midlands delivered on the promises they made to customers?

That’s one of the questions the Consumer Council for Water will be exploring with Severn Trent and South Staffs Water when the consumer watchdog’s Board meets in Birmingham on Tuesday (January 10).

Senior representatives from both of the region’s water suppliers will give presentations on the delivery of their investment programmes and commitments to customers during the meeting at Austin Court.

Severn Trent will also share its thoughts on the development of the renewable energy market and the potential benefits this could deliver for the water industry and consumers.

Members of the public are very welcome to attend the meeting, which will include an opportunity for consumers to table any questions or concerns they might have about their water or sewerage services.

The meeting will start at 9.30am and anyone interested in attending should email [email protected] to confirm their attendance.
