We are delighted to announce the publication of our new Forward Work Programme (FWP) for England & Wales 2016/17 to 2018/19.
Our FWP sets out our ambitions in representing the interests of water consumers over the next three years.
During the next 12 months our work will particularly focus on:
- Making sure the launch of increased water retail competition for non-household customers in England from April 2017 works well for all customers – whether they are eligible to switch or not.
- Raising our profile and engagement with consumers and stakeholders so we can become an even stronger advocate for customers.
- Working collaboratively with the water industry to ensure more customers who are struggling to pay their water bills get the assistance they need.
- Targeting poorer performing water companies to ensure they improve their standards of service for customers, including learning from examples of good practice across the industry.
