Water customers invited to CCWater’s public meeting

Water customers are welcome to attend the next national board meeting of the Consumer Council for Water to be held in public in Birmingham on Tuesday, April 1.

The water watchdog will be highlighting what it has achieved for water customers during the past year at the meeting in Victoria Square House, Victoria Square, Birmingham.

Water customers will also have the opportunity to raise their own issues of interest or concern during a listening session shortly after the meeting begins at 11am.

Dame Yve Buckland, chair of the Consumer Council for Water, said: “Our public meetings are just one of the ways water customers can find out more about the work we have been doing on their behalf.

“This is a particularly important time for customers with water prices being set for the next five years and we will be highlighting the work we have been doing to make sure water companies deliver the best possible deal for customers.”
