Water customers invited to watchdog’s regional public meeting

MEMBERS of the public can learn more about some of the key issues facing water consumers in the South East of England at the next regional meeting of CCWater.

CCWater London and South East will be holding a public meeting on Monday, 26 February where water consumers will have the opportunity to hear about key developments and issues affecting them in the coming year and beyond.

Water meters, the introduction of social tariffs and other existing schemes to help water customers in financial difficulty – such as WaterSure – will be discussed at the meeting which will feature key stakeholders and other interested parties, including representatives from the region’s water companies.

There will also be an opportunity to meet CCWater’s new Regional Chair Sir Tony Redmond and the watchdog’s Chief Executive Tony Smith.

The meeting will take place at 2pm at Fleetbank House, 2 – 6 Salisbury Square, London, EC4Y 8JX.
