Members of the public are invited to attend the next Welsh Committee meeting of the Consumer Council for Water (CCWater).

The meeting is being held on Tuesday 22 January, from 11am to 3.30pm, at the Catrin Finch Centre, Glynd?r University, Wrexham, LL11 2AW.

At the beginning of the meeting representatives from D?r Cymru Welsh Water and Dee Valley Water will be available to respond to customers’ and CCWater’s questions about their services.

The Committee will be looking at how water companies are performing; specifically in providing customers with a good reliable service and how well they deal with complaints. Other topics on the agenda are water resources in Wales, local plans to prevent sewer flooding, and issues with all aspects of quality of water including discolouration.

Diane McCrea, Chair of the Wales Committee of the Consumer Council for Water said:

Holding our meeting in public is one way we can hear from local water customers and consumers, enabling them to challenge representatives from the water companies and CCWater, to directly address their concerns.

Attendees who would prefer to speak in Welsh are encouraged to do so, but please let the Consumer Council for Water know ahead of time so that we can provide translation.

To confirm your attendance please call the Consumer Council for Water Wales office on  0292 023 9852.
