Freedom of Information and Data Protection Act
We publish extensive information about what we do and how we operate, free of charge.
Freedom of Information
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) provides a general right of access to recorded information held by public authorities. It places a number of obligations on public authorities and sets out exemptions from that right.
CCW is a public authority and subject to FOIA. We have a responsibility under the FOIA to provide information in response to any written request, normally within 20 working days. We are committed to responding positively to most requests for information. The FOIA provides exemptions to protect the public interest and we will apply these where appropriate.
You can contact foi@ccwater.org.uk to request information under FOIA.
