Our work in the Western region is led by Senior Policy Manager, Jenny Suggate.
Jenny is an experienced water consumer advocate, having worked for CCW and its predecessors for over 20 years. Jenny is responsible for facilitating the Board set its strategic direction and develop its Forward Work Programme. She is also a key CCW contact for Defra, in order to report on CCW’s achievements for water consumers and to understand Defra’s strategic direction. During the 2014 Price Review, Jenny sat on Bristol Water and Wessex Water’s Customer Challenge Groups, as well as inputting into Bournemouth and South West Water’s research and consumer priority work. But Jenny’s Western region experience pre-dates that, with her running the Western region earlier in her career.
Local Consumer Advocates
Jenny and her team work with Local Consumer Advocates (LCAs). They are a customer of at least one of the water companies in the Western and their work is focused on the services provided by water companies in this area. Find out more about the LCAs and who they are in this region.
