Complaints about water and sewerage
You need to complain to your water company in the first instance. If you are still unhappy with the level of service you receive, you should then write to a senior manager and ask that they review your complaint. All companies produce a leaflet outlining their complaints procedure.
If you feel your problem has not been resolved, you can then ask your local CCWater committee to investigate your complaint.
Customers are entitled to guaranteed standards of service, as laid down by the Government. If a company fails to meet any of the guaranteed standards, customers are entitled to a compensation payment under the Guaranteed Standards Scheme (GSS). For more information, click here.
